The situation and typology of these soils offer great potential to the vineyard. Located exactly in the geographic centre of the commune of St. \u00c9milion, the ch\u00e2teau is 1.5 km west of the village at the foot of a limestone plateau.<\/p>\n<p>The rigorous work of the vineyard is of the utmost importance at Grand Mayne. Sorted doubly in the vineyard and in the vathouse, the grapes are then destemmed. Each parcel is vinified separately in wooden and stainless-steel vats to control the vinification process better. Afin de ma\u00eetriser au mieux les vinifications, chaque parcelle est vinifi\u00e9e s\u00e9par\u00e9ment dans des cuves bois et inox.
